Forecasts Predict Strong Growth of International Travelers to the United States Through 2016
International visitor arrivals to the United States are expected to grow by 5 to 6 percent annually during the next five years. The U.S. Department of Commerce today released its fall travel and tourism forecast and projects a record 64 million international travelers to spend $152 billion during their stays in 2011, an increase of 13 percent from 2010.

International Visitation to the United States Grows Again
The U.S. Department of Commerce today announced that 6.6 million international visitors traveled to the United States in July 2011, a six percent increase over July 2010. For the first seven months of 2011, visitation (35.2 million) was up five percent compared to the same period in 2010.
