It's great to see tourism spending up in Canada! A new report by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) states tourism spending reached $13.8 billion - a 4% rise in Q1, 2010. Foreign spending was up 0.4%, reaching $2.4 billion from January to March this year.

Recently, a joint meeting of legislators from Canada and the U.S. agreed to lobby for lower passport fees to try and increase tourism on both sides of the border.
